SECURE TECHNOLOGY AND PROTOCOLS

When you shop at rustans.com, we never receive your credit card data. Your credit card data is processed by secure systems using encrypted technology, and the connection between your browser and our server is also secured.

We never ask for your credit card details in person, over the phone or via email or messaging apps, and we ask customers to be vigilant and ensure they don't give out their payment details in this way, as it may be a scam. Always keep your passwords secure, including for phones, PayPal, GCash, and PayMaya.

VERIFICATION

To protect against credit card or other forms of cyber fraud, we may contact you to request verification if necessary. This will involve requesting identification and other verification information only. We will never ask for credit card information. This step allows us ensure your safety, guard against unauthorized transactions with stolen cards, and protect the security and delivery of the goods. This request for information is collected with your consent via email only, and in line with our Data Privacy policy.

ONLINE PAYMENT

We accept Visa, MasterCard, JCB, GCash, PayMaya, and PayPal, and will be adding more options soon. We also accept "Buy Now Pay Later" Installment payment options offered by certain bank providers.

PROMOTION & OFFER CODES

We love rewarding our customers with great offers when we can. An offer can be shown as a straight discount on our site, a special gift or product, or a discount attained by using a "promo code" at the check out. Simply enter the promo code during the payment process, this will be shown near the total. Only 1 offer code can be used in the "promo code" field at check out, per order. We are unable to issue offers and discounts manually post-purchase. If you forget this time, just try again next time!

PAY VIA CREDIT CARD, DEBIT CARD, OR PAYMAYA

When using PayMaya, select the PayMaya option shown and follow the prompts to enter payment details for PayMaya, Visa, MasterCard, or JCB.

PAY VIA GCASH

When using GCash, select the GCash option shown and follow the prompts to enter payment details for GCash.

PAY USING PAYPAL

When using PayPal, select the PayPal option shown. A screen or pop-up will appear and you can log in to your PayPal account balance to pay or use PayPal Guest Checkout to enter details for MasterCard or Visa. Always keep your PayPal password secure on your home computer, public or work computer, or your phone.

BUY NOW, PAY LATER: PAY VIA CREDIT CARD INSTALLMENTS

You may also enjoy installment offers of up to 12 months to pay with your HSBC, RCBC, Metrobank, or BPI credit card. At the checkout, select this option and you'll be presented with one of the following depending on your basket total: 

Customers must select this payment option at check out and meet eligibility by being an HSBC, RCBC, Metrobank, or BPI cardholder.

We are unable to transfer orders from straight payment to installment options after purchases are made.

Pay 1/3 of the total bill upon checkout. The next two payments will be scheduled with zero interest, each at 30 days apart.

REFUND PROCESSING 

Our team processes refunds where applicable as quickly as possible. However, banks and payment providers have their own guidelines for processing at their end.

General guidelines for timeframe to clear funds are:

• PayPal - Immediate or within 1 to 2 business days
• PayMaya - Within 5 to 15 business days
• Visa, Mastercard  - Within 5to 15 business days or up to 30 business days depending on your bank
• Installment purchases - Minimum 10 to 15 business days or up to 30 business days depending on your bank

If you choose an E-Gift Card for Change of Mind or other forms of exchange and refund, this can be issued in a short time and used immediately for purchases on rustans.com.
